Stella Bids ("we", "us") helps small businesses with government contracting. This policy explains what information we collect through stellabids.com and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to [email protected] or (904) 690-0844.
Information we collect
- Contact form: your name, business name, email, phone number (optional), what you need help with, and your message.
- Emails and calls: whatever you choose to share when you contact us.
- Client documents: if you hire us, the records needed for your work, such as your EIN, business details, ownership records, and financial information. These are covered by your signed agreement and, on request, a mutual NDA.
We do not ask for passwords. Bank details are entered by you directly into government systems during a screen share, not sent to us.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and schedule your intro call
- To deliver the services you hire us for
- To keep basic business records, such as agreements and invoices
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run this site and our business, and only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores contact form requests, and forwards email sent to our address.
- Google provides the email inbox our messages are delivered to, and the fonts used on this site. Loading the fonts shares your IP address with Google.
- Government agencies such as SAM.gov or the SBA receive client information only when you are applying with them, and only after you review and approve what is submitted.
We may also disclose information if required by law, such as a court order. Where the law allows, we will tell you first.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies for visitors and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Because we do not track you, browser "Do Not Track" signals do not change how the site behaves.
How long we keep it
- Contact requests that don't become engagements are deleted within 12 months.
- Client documents are deleted when the job ends, unless you ask us to keep them.
- Agreements and invoices are kept as long as tax and business record laws require.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we have about you at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these rights too, and we honor them for everyone.
Security
Information is stored with encrypted, access-controlled providers. Only Stella Bids can view contact requests, and client documents are limited to the people working on your engagement. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
Terms of use
Content on this site is general information, not legal, tax, or accounting advice. Engagements are governed by a separate written agreement.
Stella Bids is an independent private business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of SAM.gov, the General Services Administration, the Small Business Administration, or any other government agency. We do not guarantee contract awards or certification approvals; those decisions are made solely by the government. We do not charge contingent fees or a percentage of contracts won.
Registration on SAM.gov and SBA certifications are free. We charge only for the services and flat prices described in a signed agreement. Clients review, sign, and certify their own submissions.
